The Best Add-Ons For Your Wedding Day

What are the best add-ons that are actually worth it for your wedding day? Learn here from an actual wedding photographer who has seen what works and what doesn't.

Second Professional Photographer

While I can easily shoot a wedding solo, here's why you may need a second shooter on your wedding day:

Adding on a second professional photographer is THE BEST add on that you can invest in for your big day! Not only are you getting more photos and angles on your wedding day, but your second photographer can be in a separate place than your lead photographer. This means that if you both are getting ready in separate locations, I can be with you while you’re getting ready and the second photographer can be with your future husband.

I trust my second photographers so even though I am not there, I know the experience and the content they can capture.

If you both love photos and capturing all the moments, I would really recommend adding on a second photographer. Having a second photographer will give you more photos, more angles, and be able to capture more of the details of your day. Such as me focusing on you both during your ceremony, the second photographer can focus on getting reactions from your favorite people.

While I am able to still grab those moments, there might be more moments that I miss because focusing on grabbing certain shots for your day.

Customized USB Drive

(Back your photos up. Trust me)

The greatest tip I tell my couples is to SAVE YOUR PHOTOS. I automatically include one year of cloud storage into my wedding packages so that you have time to download them and store them in a safe space on your computer. I always recommend printing your photos but if you prefer to keep them all online, please please please make copies and backups in different places to make sure you don’t lose your precious photos.

HENCE where I highly recommend adding on a custom USB drive. My couples that add on this to their package, get their whole gallery (High Res Images of both the white + black and colored photos) mailed to them. Some photographers offer them customized with your names and wedding date engraved on it. You can also get them in different materials like wood and metal.

Fine Albums and Prints

Fun Fact: I cried when I printed my first batch of prints for a school project

Okay true story, but the first time I printed my own photos and was able to hold them in person, I cried. I mean it was a sense of pride that it was my work, but also it‘s such a different experience being able to finally hold tangible photos of the big moments.

Think about clicking through your online gallery seeing photo upon photo only on your computer screen. Now, think about opening up the shipment box of your professionally designed and crafted, having a date night together, and flipping through the pages of your album, being able to relive the day and it being brought to life. Being able to run your fingers through the pages and over the photos, feeling the texture of the paper and prints.

Picture your album on your favorite bookshelf or the centerpiece of your coffee table for your guests to look through.

Adding this onto your wedding package helps get one thing off of your list of things to do after your wedding day.

Extra Day of Coverage

Can Include: Rehearsal Dinner, the Day Before, or the Day After

Picture this….All your friends and family have gathered together to be apart of your big day. Maybe some have traveled across the state or across the country to be here for you both. I can come by for four hours and capture y’all hanging out and even some formal portraits of those you don't see as often.

There’s a lot of hustle and bustle on your wedding day so let’s capture some family photos the day before or after and get some extra portraits or relieve some of that stress on your big day.

It’s an extra day to celebrate you and your love together. Extra details, extra moments, extra outfits, and extra photos to capture.
