Dakota and Lindsey both got ready at the R&R Wedding and Events space in Vicksburg, Michigan on the west side of the state. While taking detail photos, Lindsey let us know that she had a gift for Dakota. They were cuff links with a photo of their dog on them (pictured below). She wanted the cuff links to be included in the detail photos but to remain a surprise to him until he read her day of letter.

Because their wedding date was a cold Michigan day in January, we opted to do their individuals and wedding party photos inside. This was cool and fun to play around with the space inside and make their photos more unique. The forecast showed that snow was on the way but we didn’t know when for sure yet.

The snow finally touched down minutes after the ceremony ended, giving the chance for that perfect snowy couple portrait look they were wanting with the January wedding date they chose.
